Boy Falls 25 Feet At Park In Connecticut

A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he fell 25 feet on Monday at the Cotton Hollow Preserve, police said.

Officers from the Glastonbury Police Department responded to the park at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, when the boy fell off a cliff, investigators said. Upon arrival, they found him breathing, but unresponsive.

The boy was extricated by the local fire department and LifeStar flew him to Hartford Hospital. Police said the boy, who is from Glastonbury, hit either water or rocks. It’s unclear how he fell from the cliff.
